One highly specialized type of thermal management solution is called a clamp compression system. This type of heat sink can be used mainly with high-power compression pack semiconductor devices (e.g., disc-packaged devices; also referred to as “hockey puck” semiconductor devices).These devices can include thyristors (SCRs) and rectifiers. Richardson RFPD is pleased to offer Wakefield Thermal Solutions’ clamp compression systems for high-powered semiconductor devices.
Wakefield precision clamp compression systems are available for mounting, compression, and clamping of high-power disc-packaged devices to 5.25 in. (133.4) diameters, and 16,000 lbs. (7257.5 kg) of clamping force. Aluminum heat sinks and extrusion profiles complement the clamp systems, providing total thermal management solutions for a broad range of electronic and electrical system applications. These applications include power distribution equipment, industrial controls, transportation systems, industrial power supply, and industrial power conversion systems.
Clamp Compression Systems for RF Power Transistors These specialized RF power transistor clamps are manufactured to Richardson RFPD’ specifications for use with certain RF Power Transistor packages.Two of the clamping devices have part numbers TO270WB and TO270WBL and each has a list of associated FreescaleTM RF Power Transistors for which they were specifically designed. |

| | Filter By Parametric Attributes | Help
The parametric search filter allows the user to quickly find the parts they need by filtering the results in real-time.
To filter search results:
For each attribute shown, the user can individually select attribute values or use any combination of the min / max range selectors at the bottom of the attribute.
Additionally, some attributes allow for the conversion of their base type to different types. For example, the attribute group for minimum frequency is shown in MHz. The values can be converted to be shown in KHz or GHz by selecting the conversion type from the ‘Select Conversion’ drop down list.
Any Attribute that does not interest the user can be hidden by clicking on the ‘X” in the upper-right corner of the attribute. To show any hidden attributes, simply click the ‘Unhide Attributes’ button in the bottom of the parametric search filter.
