An RF Standard Cable Assembly can be used either in an engineering/design lab, in a manufacturing operation, or (as in most cases) in a true field application to interconnect working RF systems and RF assemblies. In their lifetime, these RF Standard Cable Assemblies may be connected and reconnected many times over, so the RF connectors at either end must be durable. They need to be fairly low-loss, and maintain fairly consistent performance over aging and temperature changes. In order to be deployed successfully in the field, these cable assemblies (and their connectors) must provide excellent electrical performance, high mechanical endurance, and excellent resistance to wear and corrosion.
Specific attributes which are important in selecting the right RF Standard Cable Assembly for your application include: Type (e.g., Flexible, Semi-Flexible, Semi-Rigid); Gender Combination (Male-to-Male, Female-to-Female, or Male-to-Female); Length (inches); Cable Diameter (inches); and Frequency Range (GHz).
Richardson RFPD supplies RF Standard Cable Assemblies from leading manufacturers such as Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, Emerson Network Power, HUBER+SUHNER, Amphenol RF, GORE®, Laird Technologies, Radiall, and Tyco Electronics.
GORE® is a registered trademark of W. L. Gore & Associates.
The parametric search filter allows the user to quickly find the parts they need by filtering the results in real-time.
Additionally, some attributes allow for the conversion of their base type to different types. For example, the attribute group for minimum frequency is shown in MHz. The values can be converted to be shown in KHz or GHz by selecting the conversion type from the ‘Select Conversion’ drop down list.
Any Attribute that does not interest the user can be hidden by clicking on the ‘X” in the upper-right corner of the attribute. To show any hidden attributes, simply click the ‘Unhide Attributes’ button in the bottom of the parametric search filter.
If you are experiencing performance issues, please use a newer browser such as Chrome or Firefox, or disable the ability of the filter to perform dynamic updates by deselecting the checkbox titled ‘Allow Filters to Dynamically Update Parametric Search Attributes’.
