母线电压越来越高导致电气系统的保护策略需要做得越来越周全。传统的机械开关/保险丝具有可靠性低和响应时间慢的缺点,这些缺点促使了新型保护装置-电子保险丝,也就是E-FUSE的出现。电子保险丝可以快速识别过载电流,故障电流从而实现对下游电气线路的快速保护。

E-Fuse 采用碳化硅 (SiC) 技术,专为 800V 电动汽车电池系统而设计,集电路保护、控制、可配置和诊断于一身。 E-Fuse 同时也提供了诸如:故障重置、免维护、可灵活安装的系统级优势。
