The Type 944L Low Inductance Series Capacitor is specifically designed for applications where low inductance and higher current ratings are desirable. Unique low inductance internal construction methods combined with low loss metallized polypropylene film dielectric provide high ripple current capability and lower ESL. Male or female terminal options offer design flexibility in a rugged UL94V-0 rated flame retardant plastic case and solid resin fill. Higher current ratings and increased resonant frequency combined with robust mounting flanges make the 944L series capacitor ideal for inverter applications in electric vehicle power inverters, wind power inverters and motor drives.
