Wieland Microcool 4000 Series Cold Plates

Wieland Microcool 4000 Series cold plates are the next evolution of their standard cold plate line. The 4000 series are designed to fit the most common power electronic footprints and can be easily customized for other needs. The CP4009 and CP4012 series cold plates highlighted below have been optimized specifically for the high heat flux of silicon carbide.

The MDT™ (micro deformation technology) pin fin inside, extruded and friction stir-welded construction, and balanced parallel cooling offers lower thermal resistance, lower pressure drop, and competitive pricing.

  • MDT in-line pin fin options (4 fin/inch, 8 fin/inch and 12 fin/inch)
  • Length (extrusion length can be increased to accommodate up to 8 modules
  • Ports: NPT/SAE/BSPP (G)/ Welded on hose barb
  • Plating Options: Electroless Nickel inside and out available
  • Single or Double-sided

CP4012 Series Cold Plates

For the Wolfspeed XM3 modules and O-Ring tubs for direct cooling of XM3 pin fin modules.

The CP4012 aluminum friction stir-welded cold plate has been optimized specifically for the high heat flux of silicon carbide. The MDT (micro deformation technology) inside allows for the very low thermal resistance, low pressure drop and balanced parallel flow.
