CTS Tusonix is the leader in EMI/RFI filters and offers a diverse product line of standard as well as custom filters to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) / radio frequency interference (RFI) thereby providing customers with a wide range of Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) solutions.
CTS Tusonix EMI/RFI filtering solutions span multiple styles and configurations in order to meet a wide variety of mechanical requirements and use cases. The main categories of CTS EMI filters include Bushing Style, Coaxial Broadband L-C, Solder-In, Press-Fit, Surface Mount, and EMI Filtered Terminal Blocks. Listed below are each type and a link to featured items.

EMI Filters Bushing Style Low Pass
Traditional solution for RF/microwave applications. Offered in several threaded diameters, this style of EMI filter saves bulkhead space. Available in Pi and C filters and a variety of voltage and capacitance values.
Benefits
Saves bulkhead space. Wide selection.
Applications
RF amplifiers, communications, signal lines, data lines, DC power Lines, telemetry, radar
EMI Filters Coaxial Broadband L-C
Versatile solution that enables attenuation over a broad frequency range. Incorprates L-C configuration in a coaxial design.
Applications
Power suppliers, power input/output, industrial controls, telecommunications equipment, aerospace/defense
EMI Filters Solder-in
Ideal for RF/microwave applications where small size and high performance are critical. These “C” configured filters can be glass sealed on either end of optimal sealing between system compartments or components. Gold plated leads offer excellent conductivity and connective ability using common gold bonding methods.
Benefits
Subminiature size, superior durability
Applications
Microwave components, amplifiers, attenuators, synthesizers, oscillators
EMI Filters Press-fit
Press-In filters surpress unwanted EMI and allow a fast, mechanical bonding that is free from soldering. And by offering an excellent alternative to traditional soldering installation, these finely designed, knurled filters significantly reduce assembly costs. Gold plated leads offer excellent conductivity and connective ability using common gold bonding methods.
Benefits
Subminiature size, solder-free design saves labor and assembly costs
Applications
Subminiature size, solder-free design saves labor and assembly costs
EMI Filters Surface mount
Benefits
Subminiature size, saves labor, automated placement, reduces PCB component count
Applications
RF amplifiers, communications, broadcast, test/measurement, GPS, aerospace/defense
EMI Filters EMI-Filtered Terminal Blocks
Recognized by UL, filtered terminal blocks are specifically designed to save time and money for EMI filtering applications. Combining a filtering component with an industry standard terminal block has created an effective barrier to EMI noise.
Benefits
Saves labor and space, consistent panel layout
Applications
Power suppliers, modular equipment, industrial controls, telecommunications.
