High-Power Amplifier Engineered for an Exceptionally Low Noise Figure from Quantic PMI

Space is always an issue when there is a need for broadband operation. Traditional High Power Amplifiers are generally narrow band requiring 2-3 devices plus other components to cover a frequency band such as 2 to 18 GHz. This adds additional insertion loss that reduces or limits the amount of gain and gain flatness that can be achieved.

To overcome this, Quantic PMI has designed this line of high-power amplifiers that are broadband and provide a high gain and remarkably low noise figure across the entire band. This reduces costs by only requiring one device vs several devices to cover the same band.

PA-2G18G-43-5-40-SFF  from Quantic PMI

Quantic PMI Model PA-2G18G-43-5-40-SFF is a high-power amplifier designed for a remarkably low noise figure of 3.5 dB and Psat of 40 dBm (10 W) over the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range with a high gain of +43 dB and ±1.5 dB gain flatness.
