TTM’s proven lineup of multi-layer Xinger® brand products offers various passive RF components for wireless infrastructure and consumer electronics applications.
All Xinger® components have also been subjected to rigorous qualification testing. The manufacturing process includes materials that are coefficient of thermal expansion (“CTE”) compatible with common substrates such as FR4, G-10, RF-35, RO4350, and polyimide. TTM supplies Xinger® brand couplers in a manufacturing-friendly surface mount package. They are also RoHS-compliant, range in frequency from 100 MHz to 26 GHz, and handle power levels of up to 500 Watts CW.
Xinger® 90-Degree 3dB Hybrid Couplers
The Xinger® brand 90-degree hybrid coupler is a four-port device for equally splitting input signals with a 90-degree phase shift between output ports. These hybrid couplers offer low insertion loss, tight amplitude balance, and high-power capability over a wide bandwidth, making them ideal for power amplifier applications.
Xinger® Directional Couplers
TTM’s Xinger®-brand directional couplers offer the lowest loss in the industry for their category.
The 10, 20, and 30dB couplers are suitable for power and frequency detection applications, as well as VSWR monitoring in situations where tightly controlled couplers and low insertion loss is required.
The 2dB to 5dB couplers are best in applications where minimal part-to-part variation is required, as in asymmetrical Doherty combiner applications.
In all cases, Xinger® directional couplers operate up to 6 GHz, offer wideband frequency coverage, and are produced with a RoHS-compliant immersion tin finish.
Xinger® Balun Transformers
Xinger® brand balun transformers provide impedance transformation and convert unbalanced impedance to balanced impedance and vice versa. Xinger® brand baluns have a low profile, compact footprint, and higher performance than traditional ceramic and lumped element baluns. Additionally, all of TTM’s balun transformers are RoHS compliant. They are suitable for use in CATV, wireless infrastructure, and other consumer electronics applications. These components are also 100% RF tested and are shipped on tape-andreel for easy integration into a pick-and-place, high-volume manufacturing context.
