Beamformers are multi-channel RFICs, with independent phase and amplitude control in the Tx/Rx paths. The system can then electronically steer antenna beams to achieve optimal signal strength.
We stock and support the following Beamformer ICs
pSemi
The PE188200A-Z is an 8-channel beamforming front-end for 5G applications. It is organized as two independently controllable RF chains of four channels supporting four dual-polarity antennas or eight single-polarity antennas.
